Pumpkin patch

We had a great time yesterday at the Pumpkin patch and petting zoo!

Vacation in Lake Tahoe

We had a great vacation in Lake Tahoe, California.  Jennifer and Tim went with us but mommy forgot to take pictures of them! We went for a long hike and played lots of board games. Fun!

The weather was really warm the first couple of days so we went to the beach. 

 Then it got colder and wet.  

 And then really cold!

 I had a golf lesson from dad.

 And got to see Emerald bay (45 degrees out!).

And had a nice dinner at the Hyatt with a beautiful view. Family photo op!

No no no no no

Oliver just figured out how to say no, he does it every time he does something he knows he shouldn't. Too cute!

Meeting Sasha Rana

I got to meet my cousin Sasha last week. My mom says she is adorable. :)

Visit from Iceland

Amma, afi, Beta, Gummi, Olof and Kristjan visited me. I had such a great time. Kristjan and I became great friends. Here are some pictures from their visit.

Ólíver hefur ekki enn tekist að labba í gegnum vegginn (hann reynir lengi ef maður lætur hann vera) en gengur vel að labba með kerruna. :)

My birthday party

I had a wonderful time at my birthday party. Lots of friends and family came to celebrate with me, I played with balloons for the first time, wore a party hat and got so so many great gifts. Thanks everyone!

First are pictures of me sitting with mommy, then me with my "birthday boy" bib, then mommy and daddy singing happy birthday with me and afterwards we blew out the candle on the cupcake, then Grandpa Jeff and Aunt Julie put a birthday hat on my head (I was grumpy and tired at this point). Then I have pictures of my friends Maddy, Alexis, Seth and Jack in his Grandma Rosa's arms. I can't find a picture of Lila, but she was there too. So was little Rohan. Finally a picture of the Herckis family playing with my new Elmo (a gift from Tonia and Francois). What a great day!

It's been way too long!

Oliver is doing very well. We finished moving in a couple of weeks ago. He enjoyed the process, especially playing with the boxes!

In the last week he has decided to try to crawl, very cute. Work in progress.

His birthday is coming up and we cheated. We let him open (assemble, with some help from dad) and play with his new toy house (see picture). He also got a music table from amma Magga and afi Kristjan (see picture of him crawling above, the table is behind him, blue legs and white table top). He uses it to practice standing (and letting go and having mommy catch him).

Ólíver er voða hress. Við kláruðum að flytja inn fyrir nokkrum vikum. Ólíver fannst þrælskemmtilegt að leika sér í kössunum (sjá fyrstu mynd).

Í síðustu viku byrjaði hann að reyna að skríða, algjör dúlla. Hann er ekki alveg búinn að ná því en allt að koma (sjá mynd 2).

Afmælið hans nálgast óðum og við svindluðum aðeins. Við leyfðum honum að opna (og setja saman, með smá hjálp frá pabba) afmælisgjöfina sína. Það er lítið plasthús og honum finnst svo skemmtilegt að hringja bjöllunni og opna hurðina (mynd 3).

Hann fékk líka tónlistarborð frá möggu ömmu og kristjáni afa. Það sést í bakgrunni af mynd 2 (bláar lappir og hvítt borð). Hann notar það til að æfa sig að standa og finnst það alveg þrælskemmtilegt, ekki minna skemmtilegt að sleppa höndum og láta mömmu grípa sig.
